California Pizza Kitchen Fundraiser 10/26 thru 11/2!!

Starting this Sunday 10/16 through Sunday 11/2, California Pizza Kitchen (Creve Coeur and Chesterfield Mall locations) will be collecting pet food for Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry and 10/31 through 11/2 bring in this coupon (just print it out) to the Chesterfield Mall, Creve Coeur or Galleria locations and we will receive 20% of your check!

Please DO NOT be Confused! We are the ORIGINAL Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry!!

Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry is NOT affiliated with the *new* pet food pantry which is opening in our old location. There is going to be mass confusion as they are right next door to our current (temporary) location and ran by a former volunteer.

The ONLY group we are affiliated with is Shelter Buddies of Missouri and we share a 501c3 partnership though our corporation, Animal Buddies of Missouri. All of your monetary and pet food donations are tax deductible!

I have put too much blood, sweat and tears into making Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry what it is today and recognized by the Jefferson County Council, Jefferson County Animal Control, Churches, Schools, Scouts and many other organizations to have this new group confused with our long time organization. I started this pantry because of my volunteering at Jefferson County Animal Control and couldn't bear to see anyone give up their family pets.

I appreciate your support through the years and we will STILL continue to help low income residents of Jefferson County feed, spay and neuter their beloved pets!!

Thanks to the kindness of my little sister..100% of her commission from JewelScent by Sheila will go to the pantry from now until October 19th (which is our distribution day).

Sometime during the week between 10/8 and 10/10 Someone STOLE our food!!

HUGE blow to the pantry today!! Went by PetCo to pick up our food, noticed the bin was empty and asked the manager if they had put it in the back. She said someone picked it up the other night. It wasn't any of our volunteers ): Pretty low blow to steal from a pet food pantry who's barely getting by.

BTW..I am not making accusations against PetCo, I believe it was an honest mistake. We have been dealing with them for over 3 years with no problems. They have been very generous to us.
