On this day Feb. 18th 2011, I received official notification Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry was recognized by the State of Missouri as a non-profit. Even though we have been providing pet food to the needy since the end of 2010, I thought this day appropriate for our anniversary.
We have had many ups/downs and have come a long way from giving pet food away in parking lots to our new location and soon to open thrift store.
I sincerely want to thank my family, friends and complete strangers for sticking by and believing in the pantry the last 4 years. Without your support we could not have made it this long.
Also, thanks to my amazing volunteers and the donors who give unconditionally to keep us going.

Next Distribution date 2/15/15 10 am til 1 pm!
WE NEED PET FOOD!! I'll be at the pantry off and on all weekend and will be happy to meet anyone who would like to drop off food. We REALLY need dry dog, dry cat food and kitty litter.
Our next distribution is Sunday Feb. 15th from 10 am till 1 pm.
We are located at 5702 OLD HWY 21, Imperial MO 63052 . South of HWY M in the Otto Plaza next to Jefferson County Music, across from Dollar General. Conveniently located between HYW 30 and HWY 55! Additional parking on the side of the strip mall!!
To qualify for our program, you MUST be a Jefferson County resident. You need to bring photo id (showing current address or a utility bill), proof of need (WIC, SSI, Medicaid, Food Stamps, any government assistance) along with backing documentation showing current eligibility. Cards are not acceptable. Please provide proof of spay/neuter. If your pets are not spay/or neutered, we will only give you food once until you have made arrangements for the procedure (which we will pay for).
