Open House, Low Cost Vaccinations and Adoption Event 10/8/16

Saturday Oct. 8th from 12-4 pm, Jefferson County Animal Control will hold an open house and low cost rabies (plus other vaccinations) clinic. If you live in unincorporated Jefferson County, raibes are ONLY $5.00, all others are $10.00. Great pets available for adoption. We will have flyers and info about our Pet Food Pantry, low cost spay/neuter and Thrift Store. 7105 Shelter Rd, Barnhart, MO 63012. We are very happy to work in conjunction with our local animal control.

We will provide pet costumes and props or you can bring your own. Costumes will be available for sale as well.

The Thrift Store will be open during these hours so you can shop with (or without) your pet. All sales from the thrift store go to help us feed, spay and neuter pets of low income Jefferson County residents.

Pet Food Distribution, Spay/Neuter sign up Sunday Sept 18th

Our next pet food distribution,spay/neuter sign up is Sunday Sept. 18th, from 10 am till 1 pm. We are located at 5702 Old HWY 21 (Old State Route 21), Imperial MO 63052. South of HWY M in the Otto Plaza next to Jefferson County Music, across from Dollar General. No appointment necessary, DO NOT bring pets.

To qualify for our program, you MUST be a Jefferson County resident. You need to bring photo id (showing current address or a utility bill), proof of need (WIC, SSI, Medicaid, Food Stamps, any government assistance) along with backing documentation showing current eligibility. Please provide proof of spay/neuter. If your pets are not spay/or neutered, we will only give you food once until you have made arrangements to have them fixed (which we will pay for). If you are ONLY interested in getting your pets fixed, you STILL need to come by, fill out an application and bring the necessary paperwork.
