Next Pet Food Distribution, Sunday Feb. 21st 10-1.

Our next pet food distribution is Sunday Feb.21st, from 10 am till 1 pm. We are located at 5702 Old HWY 21 (Old State Route 21), Imperial MO 63052. South of HWY M in the Otto Plaza next to Jefferson County Music, across from Dollar General. Conveniently located between HWY 30 and HWY 55. Additional parking on the side of the strip mall.

To qualify for our program, you MUST be a Jefferson County resident. You need to bring photo id (showing current address or a utility bill), proof of need (WIC, SSI, Medicaid, Food Stamps, any government assistance) along with backing documentation showing current eligibility. Please provide proof of spay/neuter. If your pets are not spay/or neutered, we will only give you food once until you have made arrangements to have them fixed (which we will pay for). If you are ONLY interested in getting your pets fixed, you STILL need to come by, fill out an application and bring the necessary paperwork. Questions? call 314-723-6127!

Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry is 5 Years Old!

Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry was formed in the fall of 2010. On February 18th, 2011 we received our Articles of Incorporation from the State of Missouri making us a legitimate organization.

It has been such a journey full of ups/downs, heartaches, headaches and mostly backaches smile emoticon I can't tell you how many times I felt defeated and wanted to give up. I have lost track of how many moves we made.

This last year has been AMAZING for us! We love our location (central to all of JeffCo), our neighbors are wonderful and opening the Thrift Store has been the best thing we ever did (making us somewhat self sufficient).

None of this could happen without the support of our community, our friends, my family (thanks to my dad for always being there for me) your donations/backing, my dedicated and highly beloved volunteers.

Much love to you Mary Urness (volunteer extraordinaire/wonderful friend ) for sticking by me the last few years. You are a joy to work with, no drama and lots of fun.
