2015 Year End Review!

Our numbers are down from last year due to our move, getting things set up and many people unaware of our new location. Thankfully mid-year we were going full force to help those less fortunate.
It was an amazing year for the pantry (the best yet). We love our new, convenient location and opening the thrift store has taken a huge burden off of our financial needs.
This year we provided:
21,000 lbs of dry dog food and 7,000 of dry cat food. We gave away thousands cans of food, treats, toys, collars, leashes, bowls and more.
We covered spay/neuter cost for 18 dogs and 27 cats.
Due to deaths in families and some of our members falling on even harder times, we were able to find homes/rescues for 4 dogs, 2 kittens, a momma cat and 8 kittens!
We provided humane euthanasia for 2 dogs and 1 cat.
We receive so many blankets, towels, sheets and dog treats..we were able to donate them to many of our local shelters and rescues who really needed them.
We provided feral cat shelters to some of our folks caring for the poor kitties. Thank you Tina Landis for setting them up for us.
Our thrift store has provided free clothing, shoes and household goods to many of our low income pantry members. Items we aren’t able to use go to Social Services in Hillsboro for families in need.
We also, (thanks to Jennifer Bess) have a regular delivery for our home bound/disabled pantry members! Much love to Jennifer as she also takes a lot of these animals to their vet appointments and goes above and beyond!
Thanks to everyone for making 2015 a fantastic year!!
