Our next pet food distribution, spay/neuter sign up is Sunday, September, 18th from 10 till NOON. Do NOT arrive before 9am.
To qualify for our program, you need to be a Jefferson County resident, provide Government documented proof of low income (in paper form), a valid id and proof of residency. We require all healthy pets in the household be spay or neutered.
Through November we will have a mobile spay/neuter clinic at our pantry once a month. The cost for low-income pet owners is $25 to $50 (depending on income). Community cats are free, but donations are encouraged. This includes spay/neuter, 1 year rabies vaccination and microchip. Dogs must be under 50 lbs. We are still working with Carol House Quick Fix as well.
